greetings on a windy day

Hello all you readers of my blog. If you read this, I don't require any comments except simply that you sign your name in the "comments" box so that I know you're still around. Can you do that for me? Also, I've lost track of a few friends blogs, and this will help me get back to them.

I have started to dry my clothes on a clothes lines and on drying racks outside. It's kind of fun to do this. I've also started to wash my dishes by hand quite often and it's quite therapeutic to put my hands in the water and wash stuff.

Millie laughs like a mad woman when I pretend to run into the wall and then I laugh at her like one because it's so funny.

Millie and I love to take rides around town- I ride the bike and she is toted around in the bike trailer on the back. She smiles and says "weeee" frequently.

Kyle and I went kayaking for our 6 year aniversary on Saturday. I'd never been before and it was so very fun.

That will do.

hI'm here. Probably weren't expecting me first, eh? Anyway, it's funny because I have recently been onery about going back to doing dishes by hand (haven't done it in fact), so it is nice to read your positive outlook. Also, Stephen and I were just talking about taking bikes to the park and to a nearby movie theatre and even to the store to save gas, and that does sound mostly nice. Besides it would be good for our health (mental and physical I think).
Thanks for your post! You and your sisters have such great personalities!

Glad to hear from you. It sounds like you're doing a bunch of fun things...like dished. j/k. I'm glad Millie enjoys the biking so you can ;)

Hi, Tye, we've been enjoying our bike, this summer, too, though the temperatures are getting a little on the uncomfortable side. We ride over to the elementary school for free breakfast and lunch for Oliver. Good times.

The meditation book for mothers that I'm reading recommends doing dishes, as well, and says it's a good lesson in being "present" in the moment.

I would LOVE to hear millie laugh like a mad women, and in turn you.

keep on writin'--I'm still readin'.

Hi my Tye Marie! I just did dishes in the sink this morning. Mostly because I was feeling pent up frusteration having been up since 3:45, and no signs of Molly drifting off to sleepy land any time soon. It actually was very relaxing. Yay for laughs and running into walls!

Man, you've been married a long time! I was thinking about that the other day and could barely believe it.

By the way, I wanted to wash dishes by hand today, it did sound soothing and quiet somehow, but I was out of dish soap!Dangit!
